It's almost impossible to talk about employer brand without referencing social and digital media in the same sentence. After all, the job search and employment landscape has completely changed since Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn came of age.
From job seeking habits to employee communication, social media has changed the way organizations brand themselves as places to work from providing more ways to connect with future and current employers to more insight into the authentic employment experience.
While every employer brand we build is rooted in research and strategy, there's no effective execution without utilizing social and digital in a practiced, experienced way. With that in mind, I'm thrilled to welcome Emily Fritz to the exaqueo family!
To say social media runs through Emily's blood is an understatement. She most recently led the social media team at Cvent, a high growth event management company in Washington, DC and prior to that held several human resources, employer brand and digital roles at the global government contracting firm Northrop Grumman. At Northrop Grumman, Emily was recognized for her social media work as the top performing US company using social media.
Not only is Emily a practiced expert in social and digital, she brings incredible communication and HR chops to our team as well. She's worked in university relations and staffing as well as led internal and external communication strategies during Cvent's $1.65B acquisition & merger integration.
Having spent time on both the employer brand and the consumer brand sides of the house, Emily comes to our team with a unique perspective seeing the joint value and purpose both kinds of brands can have together. And as many of our clients look for ways for marketing, HR and communications to partner together, Emily has the lens to help clients see the opportunity that brings.
A recent transplant to Richmond, VA, outside of work Emily spends time with her husband and pups and loves interior decorating and cooking. Her creativity combined with her technological prowess is an asset to the exaqueo team we just couldn't pass up.
