Several years ago, I was introduced to employer branding by pure luck. While working on the marketing team at Uber, I had raised my hand and volunteered to help an internal team better-understand the engineering talent pipeline. During this project, my eyes were opened to the world of employer branding—and I was hooked.
Early on in my MBA program at Vanderbilt, Susan LaMotte and Lexi Gordon guest lectured a class I was attending about their work at exaqueo. This was the first time, outside of my project at Uber, that I had heard anyone talk about employer branding. So, in true MBA candidate fashion, I immediately asked for a networking call and an internship sprung to life after our chat. After graduating and then joining Twitter as a Project Manager for a bit, I am excited to be back on the exaqueo team in a full-time capacity as an employer brand strategist!
When I’m not at work, I enjoy being active and soaking up the outdoors. Whether it’s a hike, dinner in a nearby park, or just a walk with the dog around the neighborhood—Colorado has a ton of beauty to offer. Acts of service and quality time are my love languages, so you’ll also find me hosting dinner parties as much as I’m able!
