exaqueo Earns Spot on Inc. 5000 for Second Consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, exaqueo has earned a coveted spot on the annual Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive list of America’s fastest-growing and most successful private companies. exaqueo joins an impressive roster of well-known brands that have appeared on the list since its formation, including Facebook, Chobani, Under Armour, Microsoft, and Patagonia.

“I’m always proud of our exceptional team, but this year in particular, our growth has been really well-earned. Unlike many companies on the Inc. 5000 list, exaqueo has been entirely bootstrapped since day one. We’re woman-owned and diverse-led, and we’ve proven that growth doesn’t have to come at the expense of ethics, values, and flexible work,” says Susan LaMotte, Founder & CEO of exaqueo.

“We’re not just building products or technology, we’re literally changing the way people think about work through insight, employer brand, and people experiences,” LaMotte says, “And our team makes such a difference in our clients’ lives.”

With 111 percent revenue growth over three years, exaqueo is one of 38 companies from Charleston on the list and one of only 30% that are woman-owned. Of the 63 companies based in South Carolina, it’s one of only two firms categorized in the human resources industry.

The Inc. 5000 class of 2023 represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges. “Running a business has only gotten harder since the end of the pandemic,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “To make the Inc. 5000—with the fast growth that requires—is truly an accomplishment. Inc. is thrilled to honor the companies that are building our future.”

We would like to extend our gratitude to all of our hardworking team members, advisors, partners, and clients. We would not be where we are today without each and every one of you.
