I first started in recruitment marketing in 1999 in the UK having stumbled into it from a product marketing agency, and through a former colleague. At first I wasn't quite sure what to make of it all, but soon got to grips with the subtle nuances compared to product marketing.
As I grew into my roles I was lucky enough to be able to learn from some great people and my employer brand career was well and truly launched. In 2004 I emigrated to Australia and worked for TMP Worldwide where I really cut my teeth as I needed to take clients from transactional recruitment marketing to a strategic approach which was challenging.
My belief has always been that no EVP should be without robust research and analysis to ensure it is compelling and above all authentic. I've been fortunate enough to work in three geographies - UK, Australia, and the US - worked with some great clients, winning some awards along the way.
Outside of work, our two border collies keep us on our toes, and living in one of the best (if not the best!) wine regions in the world we have a plethora of great food and drink options, so the dogs help keep the waistline in check.
