I’m a firm believer that we are more than the skills and experiences on our resume and that a job is more than what’s included in the job description. When I realized this, I set out to build my career around helping organizations engage and develop their people in a way that maximizes the employment relationship and goes beyond the tangibles you see in a resume and job description.
My previous role as an HR Business Partner brought this realization to new light as I learned how valuable it is to be a trusted, empathetic partner who understands both the big picture and an organization’s specific context. I had opportunities to listen to employees, what they needed and what they cared about, and had built the trust and credibility with leadership to deliver impactful recommendations to improve the employee experience. This work was so fulfilling to me that I wanted more of these opportunities and knew that exaqueo would provide just that.
Outside of work, you can typically find me doing one of several things: exploring the Nashville food scene with my husband, cooking and baking new recipes (and enjoying the fruits of that labor), watching my favorite TV shows, or exercising in one of three ways: swimming, peloton(ing), or running.
